The new GRIP2 damper is a standard of unsurpassed ride quality and precise on-the-go adjustment. In 2021, Fox took the GRIP2 to the next level by adding its proprietary VVC technology to the high-speed compression circuit.
Channels in the pants – significantly increase the volume of air in the pants and thereby reduce the number of additional unintentional pressure jumps. Another advantage of these channels is that the oil circulates in the pants, continuously lubricating the foam rings and bushings as the fork contracts and expands during its travel.
Valves – pumping for the lower part of the legs allow you to balance the atmospheric pressure with a simple push of a button. An increase in pressure in the lower extremities sharply reduces the performance of the fork, preventing the achievement of full travel and reducing sensitivity and responsiveness to small impacts.
Floating Axle – These may look similar to other axles, but in fact they offer a clear performance advantage due to their unique ability to precisely match the width of the fork wheel mounting surface with the distance between the front hub flanges, thereby ensuring perfect chassis alignment and eliminating unwanted friction between the legs and pants forks
Gorilla – a completely new design of the arch of the pants removes all stops, shedding all possible grams, without violating the requirements for stiffness or strength of modern enduro and game riding style.
The 38’s elliptical stem is one of the many ways Fox has further optimized the stiffness-to-weight ratio, putting more material only where it’s needed and removing every gram where it’s not.
