1. Modes of operation of the model:

The developers provided six options for lighting:

Turbo: The highest power provided here. The luminous flux gives one and a half thousand lumens. The range of the beam is 200 meters. In this mode, it can function for a little more than two hours.
Maximum. Brightness gives 800 lumens, functions for two and a half hours. The range of the beam reaches 140 meters.
Average. The luminous flux is equal to 350 lumens, the range of the beam reaches 90 meters. Shines for six hours.
Minimum. The brightness is 150 lumens, the distance of the beam reaches 61 meters. The working time of the lantern in this mode is 17 hours and 15 minutes.
Eco. The luminous flux of the model is 30 lumens, it shines at a distance of 28 meters. And the working time reaches 73 hours and 35 minutes.
Strobe Here, the brightness is one and a half thousand lumens.
2. Management.

It is controlled by using the side button. To turn on the flashlight, you need to press and hold the button for about half a second, after which the model is activated and you can work with it. To turn it off, you need to perform the same action. If you need to activate any of the modes, you need to press the button once while the light is on. And you can move between Turbo, Eco, Minimum, Medium, Maximum modes.

If you need to lock the Fenix E28R, press the button on the side twice when the flashlight is off. To unlock, press the button twice quickly and the lock will be removed. To activate the Strobe mode, press and hold the button for a little more than one second. And if you want to go back, just press the button on the side once.

There is an option here, according to which the Fenix E28R is able to remember the previous mode that was before turning off. This does not apply only to the Strobe mode.

Also, this lantern has the possibility of color indication of the charge. The level of charge is shown to the user on a button that glows green or red, steady or blinking, depending on how much charge is left.

The E28R is also protected from overheating by default. If the body temperature is over 60 degrees Celsius, the model automatically reduces brightness. Later, when the temperature drops, you can use more powerful lighting modes again.
